The 24 Manai Telugu Chettiars (24MTC) are Indian people who speak Telugu of the Chettiar. They are prominent merchants of Tamil Nadu, India, and are found predominantly in states such as Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerela, Karnataka in India. They are also found in Sri Lanka and Gujarat. The community is well known by several variants of their name and is divided into a total of twenty-four subdivisions. The subdivisions are divided into 16 and 18 veedu clans.

According to the 24MTC, 16 veedu bride and groom will marry 8 veedu bride and groom and vice-versa. The 24MTC Association is a non-profit organization that aims to maintain and perpetuate the cultural heritage of people of the same origin. Their goal is to propagate and assist education, economic, and community affairs of 24 MTC origin in India.

Doctors Association of 24 Manai Telugu Chettiars Comunity wishes to bring notice of practitioners whose names are entered in their register that if after due inquiry the community finds them guilty of any unethical practices then they are liable to be warned and have names erased from the registered list. The community by no means deals with any kind of unethical practice that can be brought before them.
Guilty of offenses that are liable to his name erased from the register without any warning due to immorality abuse of professional relationship and conviction by a court of law for any kind of moral turpitude.
A doctor or practitioner who has treated the deceased in his illness is expected to provide a death certificate mentioning the actual reason for death. The doctor shall be entitled to charge fees that are reasonable for certificate except when the certificate Is needed for registration of death by local authorities. The practitioner is not bound to get a signature on certificates attested that are

withheld from health authority’ information on notifiable disease.
Selling scheduled poison under cover of qualification except for his patients.
Disclosing patient secrets that have been learning during the consultation or while treating the patient.

Our well-organized health camps with a concentration on principles of coordination, tools, collaboration, and techniques do not only make health camps successful but also helps in improving the health status of such communities which are often deprived of basic advanced health care facilities due to several circumstances.

Doctors Association of 24 Manai Telugu Chettiars Community organizes free medical camps that are conducted to provide a health service environment for the underprivileged community to get knowledge about health issues as well. The camps that we conduct provides free tests of hemoglobin, diabetes, blood pressure, and offers treatment and counseling by our specialized and trained doctors.

The camp focuses on providing free medicines to people which includes several supplements to malnourished ones.

Apart from providing general check-up and basic health treatments, the medical camps which we conduct help people to be aware of health issues, symptoms of diseases, and precautions as well. The camps provide support for girls and boys who are adolescents to inform them about sexual health, physical hygiene, sanitary pads, and healthy practices during menstruation. We tend to provide curative as well as a preventive treatment for conditions in the community who require specialized treatment to hospitals.

The main goal of medical camps for us is to bring free health information to communities with affordable health care along with knowledge of health-related issues to device ways of addressing them.
